Sex chat and kisses with girls

It's always the seemingly simple question that's the most wildly complex and loaded with deeper hidden implications.

Within seconds, I found myself deeply reflecting back on my own sexual encounters.

Some people only consider French kissing as getting to first base.

Second base is direct physical contact, usually meaning his hands to her breast.

Going suddenly from zero touching to trying to kiss her is awkward and more stressful on you. There are other ways to escalate such as sexual compliments and statements of interest but these two are absolute.

Many guys are afraid to escalate because they don’t want to jeopardize their chances. If you cannot kiss her or even get her alone to see you, you’re not going to be intimate. Every time she willingly accepts your physical advances or complies with your leadership (logistics), she is opening up to you.

Most relationships are boring, of course this is quite understandable considering the fact that the two people involved are coming from two different worlds.

I was the lone American girl in this sea of English girls, but I've called London home in my early to mid 20s and was raised by a bonafide English mother.

A few weeks ago, I was enjoying a 4-pm chat over hot cups of tea and Toblerone chocolate bars with four of my loveliest, most brilliant, wonderful English girlfriends when we started talking about the difference between f*cking and kissing.

It was a gorgeously lazy Sunday afternoon, and I felt cozy tucked into my friend Sara's Brooklyn Heights apartment.

Talking about fifth base when there's really only four bases reminds me of the expression Up To Eleven.

If you want to downvote me for using Urban Dictionary, that's fine. First base When you get to first base, you have been lucky enough to have been kissed.

  1. Somewhere we may meet, lounging on the sandy beaches of Aruba and we will be reminded of those endless summer days spent at our own Duxbury beach. Somewhere, when someone violently tosses us a can of soda, we will relate it to the action that brought the 1998 Pep Rally to an abrupt end.
